Scope of work:
Cutting grass or weeds with a mower, riding or hand, trim hedges and edges around walks, flowerbeds, and wells, using hedge trimmers, weed eaters, clippers and edging tools; prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth, using shears and other hand tools, sprays lawn, shrubs, and trees with fertilizer or insecticide; hand weed-pulling, raking, mulching landscapes, remove dead, damaged or unwanted trees, plant grass, flowers, trees and shrubs, watering lawn and shrubs during dry periods, using hose or activating sprinkler system, picks up and carts away leaves, paper or other litter, digging with hand tools or small equipment. Repairing and painting fences, gates, benches, tables, guardrails, and outbuildings. Drive ATV’s, Kubota’s and other small equipment or Tractors clearing snow from walkways, parking lots, and traffic areas using shovel and snow blower. Spreads salt on walkways and other areas; working with turf, seed, fertilizers; shoveling gravel, rock and dirt; moving rock and landscaping materials; may work with equipment operators to coordinate hand-digging for utility lines etc. The laborer position may be counted on to work asphalt, concrete, paint striping, and occasionally operate small excavation equipment and or a street sweeper, and as a flagger when required to meet mission requirements. Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prefer minimum of one (1) year direct related experience and/or formal vocational/technical training and be physically able to handle the job responsibilities. Each complete year of accredited college education in a related field may be substituted for the equivalent number of years of required experience.
- Must be able to maintain a valid state driver’s license.

May be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance, including successfully completing a thorough background investigation. For positions requiring use of a Company and or Customer vehicle, must have a safe driving record within the past 36 months, as defined by Company policy.
