KIRA has been awarded SHARP certification, from OSHA, for the company's Fort Carson, Colorado project site. The Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) recognizes employers who operate an exemplary safety and health management system. Acceptance into SHARP by OSHA is an achievement of status that singles out businesses as models for worksite safety and health. KIRA's Fort Carson project site will be exempt from programmed inspections until recertification in March of 2010. KIRA provides base operation support services for the Directorate of Public Works at Fort Carson, Colorado under this 10-year contract.
